Are you visiting or live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and love farm fresh fruits and vegetables?    Maybe you're looking to fix something fresh at your cabin, while camping, or even at your home.   We love visiting "pick it yourself" or "u-pick" farms, as you not only get fresh produce, but you get to enjoy the adventure and experience as well.

Most farms allow u-pick of Apples and berries, and other produce is only available for purchase in their stores.   A few also have u-pick peaches as well.

We've selected our top picks for "pick it yourself" farms in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.   These are all farms that are fun to visit, provide high quality produce, and have other amenities for you to enjoy while you're there.   They are in no particular order in this article.

Let's go, pick our own!
