Beech Mountain Resort in Beech Mountain NC offers some of the best skiing and snow tubing in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Beech Mountain Snow Tubing park is one of the newest as is a state-of-the-art snow tubing location, locate at the Alpine village at the bottom of the ski slopes.

The slopes offer 8 extra long runs that are lighted and have a full sound system.   A Magic Carpet conveyor takes tubers quickly back up the top for more runs.

In the Alpine village, you'll find food and warm drinks, an ice skating rink, and shopping.

Tubers must be 42" or taller to ride, and children are not allowed to ride with their parents.   Tickets can be purchased in advance during their normal season.

Located near Highlands NC, Highlands Outpost offers 4 lanes of snow tubing excitement.  The Magic carpet will take you quickly back up to the top for more runs.   In addition to natural snow, they also have professional snow-making equipment to maintain a solid base and slippery slopes.  

Riders must be 42 inches or taller, and a minimum of 4 years old to ride.  For younger children, Kids Snow Play is available.

Snow Tubing at Sugar Mountain provides six runs that are 700 feet each.  All are served by a conveyor carpet lift system.  Snow Tubing is located near the skating rink and both have their own parking lot, just before you the ski resort.

Sugar Mountain provides Snowmaking and lights for night tubing and they regularly groom the lanes for smooth and fast rides.

Tube World - Maggie Valley NC

Tennessee

Tennessee is not well known for snow skiing or tubing, but there are a few great places in and around the tourist towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge TN.   

Ober Gatlinburg - Gatlinburg TN

The most popular and well-known winter attraction is Ober Gatlinburg, located in Gatlinburg TN.    Ober Gatlinburg Snow Tubing delivers  350-foot long runs with a 50-foot drop.  They generally have 8-10 lanes depending on conditions.

A "Magic Carpet" will take tubers back to the top for more runs.  

Tubers Ages 3 – 5 must ride with an adult 18 years or older, Children ages 2 and under are not allowed to go tubing. Must be at least age 6 years old and 42″ tall to ride alone.

Ober Gatlinburg is generally very busy, so you'll want to book your tickets in advance.   Also, during peak weekends and holidays, there may be a wait.

Pigeon Forge Snow - Pigeon Forge TN

Pigeon Forge Snow offers a truly unique snow tubing experience, in that you can snow tube year-round!   Yes, they are open for snow tubing every day of the year AND they are indoors.   

You read that correctly, you can snow tube anytime, indoors, and it even stays 60-70 degrees inside.   The snow is real and they use modern snow-making equipment with no additives.  They even have a snow play area that is also open year-round.  

Tubing runs are 12 lanes that are 225 feet in length.   Tubers reach speeds of about 30mph.   A moving catwalk will take you back to the top for more runs.  

For the tubing, you must be at least 38 inches and 3 years old.  Reservations are not required, you just show up. 

Rowdy Bear's Smoky Mountain Snow Park - Pigeon Forge TN

Rowdy Bear Mountain is an entertainment venue located in Pigeon Forge TN, near the Titanic museum.   In the winter, they open up the Smoky Mountain Snow Park, which has snow tubing.   The tubing hill is over 500 feet in length with a 70-foot plus drop and is also the fastest outdoor tubing hill in Tennessee!  

They offer two Magic Carpet Conveyors to the top of the hill, complete with some of the most amazing views of the Smoky Mountains!  Grab some warm drinks and snacks at Sugar Bears Café And Creamery.  They also have baked goods and homemade ice cream!

Tuber must be at least 48″ tall to ride alone.  Children must be 40″ tall to participate with an adult over the age of 18

Virginia

When you think of outdoor winter activities and sports, Virginia is probably not the first state that comes to mind.  In fact, it probably wouldn't even make anyone's list, but Virginia actually has a large number of winter resorts and snow tubing venues.   Enough of them to compete with some of the top states that generally come to mind.

Even more surprising, Virginia just may have one of the top, if not the top winter resorts and snow tubing destinations in the Blue Ridge Mountains!

Bryce Resort - Basye VA

Snow Tubing at Bryce Resort in Basye Virginia offers 3 800-foot lanes of snow for you to speed down.   To quickly get back up to make the most of your time, Bryce Resort provides a conveyor belt to take you back up to the top.

Children must be at least 36" tall and 4 years of age to ride, and only 1 person per tube is allowed.   Ice skating is also available at a discounted price for tubers.

Family Adventure Park - Massanutten VA

Voted the best snow tubing by Washingtonian, Massanutten Snow Tubing, offers up 16 different snow tubing lanes, each over 900ft in length.   Even better?  The drop is 120 feet for fast and long runs.

Massanutten has a unique snow tubing experience called Northern Lights Snow Tubing, an "out-of-this-world experience".  You'll zoom down the snow tubing hill surrounded by the glow of neon lights and pumping music.   The experience gives the effect of snow tubing under the Northern Lights.

Massanutten provides state-of-the-art snow-making machines, which may be running during your visit.   Children must be at least 36 inches tall to tube and must be accompanied by an adult while in the Family Adventure Park.  

The Plunge Snow Tubing Park - Roseland VA

The Plunge by Wintergreen resort is the largest snow tubing facility in the Virginia Blue Ridge.   The plunge provides a hill the size of a ten-story building, and a tubing run that is longer than 3 football fields.   That works out to be about a 1,000-foot run with a 140-foot elevation drop.   

They provide a lift for a quick return to the top and have snow-making equipment as well for pristine (and fast) rides.  Tubers must be 42 inches or taller to ride The Plunge. 

Snow Tubing Tips

Although snow tubing is easy and no lessons are needed, there are a few things that can help you enjoy your snow tubing adventure even more:

• Wear warm socks and waterproof or water-resistant winter boots. Cold and wet feet will ruin your experience and can hurt your feet.  At the very least, wear close-toed shoes.
• Wear a waterproof or water-resistant winter jacket.
• Wear waterproof/water-resistant pants and if you are cold-natured, make sure to wear thermal underwear or some other layer underneath your pants.  Avoid cotton (jeans) if possible.
• Fourth, wear a beanie or toboggan to help keep you warm.  If you have them, bring some sunglasses, the sun and snow are very bright.
• Bring some cash - Some places are cash only, and it makes getting small snacks and drinks easier.
• Bring your patience, especially on holidays and peak times.   Waits can often be long due to the large crowds.

For 2022, Black Bear Snow Tubing opens on December 17th for tons of winter tubing fun!   Black Bear offers multiple lane runs that are over 500 foot in length, made up of real snow.   Amenities include: rides to the top, a heated lodge for viewers, drinks, food, snacks, and a playground.

Black Bear provides some of the best snow tubing near Asheville NC, and is very popular with locals and visitors to the area.  Book your tickets in advance online to avoid waits and for optimal times.

1 - Skiing, Snow Boarding and Snow Tubing

Of course the most popular thing to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains during the winter is skiing and snowboarding.  There are a number of ski resorts in the area that are popular with skiers from all over the world:

2 - Celebrate Christmas and the Holidays

Holiday celebrations and events begin well before the first official day of Winter in the Blue Ridge Mountains.   The holidays and the Blue Ridge Mountains combine to make pure holiday magic, with various cities, towns, attractions and parks providing tons of options to see and do.

Here are just a few great ways to celebrate Christmas and the holidays in the Blue Ridge Mountains: 

3 - Visit a Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas Tree Farm

A family tradition for many, is a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains to choose and bring home a Christmas tree (called Choose and Cut).   The Blue Ridge Mountains are full of beautiful tree farms, that provide a scenic and fun way to get your Christmas tree each year.

Visit one of the many farms, and explore the tree fields to find your perfect tree.  Let the farm cut, bundle, and securely put it on your vehicle to bring home for the holidays.  While at the farms, many offer hot chocolate, hot cider, visits with farm animals, hayrides, photos with Santa, gifts, and more!

5 - Visit Christmas at Biltmore Estate

Winter is a great time to visit Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC.  During the summer, the house is often very crowded and very hot, but during the winter Biltmore is nice and warm, and  very few people are visiting.  The only exception to this is in December, when Biltmore is decorated for Christmas.  While absolutely stunning, the crowds are heavy.  But once January roles around, the crowds subside significantly.

Biltmore has a number of green houses as well, so don't think you won't be able to see all of the wonderful plant life either.  Touring the green houses is one of our personal favorite things to do.  An added advantage is that the main green house, The Conservatory is probably one of the warmest places in the Blue Ridge during the winter, with it's indoor tropical temperatures.

Who knows, you might even get a little bit of snow, and Biltmore surrounded by a light coat of fresh snow is stunning to behold and makes for some very unique and beautiful photos.

6 - Take a Holiday Train Ride through the mountains

There is just something special about the holiday season, the mountains, and trains.  The three together make for the perfect family outing for the holidays.    There are a number of options, but our favorite is Tweetsie Christmas at Tweetsie Railroad.  

If you want to journey on the Polar Express, visit the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in Bryson City NC.  Be sure to wear your pajamas!

The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway also offers a holiday themed train ride, complete with Santa.

7 - Spas in the Blue Ridge Mountains

The Blue Ridge mountains are full of wonderful and scenic and luxurious spas.  Here are just a few of them.

8 - Winter Waterfalls & Hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Waterfalls??  Yes, Waterfalls and even hiking in the winter.

With freezing and cold temperatures, waterfalls often partially or fully freeze up, making for an absolutely gorgeous and unique setting and unique photographs.   I mean everyone has pictures of Looking Glass Falls, but how many have a photo of it in the winter, like he one to the right?  Read our full-guide to our top NC waterfalls for places you can visit to get those frozen waterfall photos.  All of these waterfalls are easy to access and stunning to see during the winter.

Winter time, while a bit chilly, is also a great time to take a hike.  Why?  Because the leaves are off the trees, and views that can't normally be scene are fully visible in the winter.   The best part of hiking in the winter for me?  NO BUGS!  Just be sure to check local park websites to be sure the trails are open.  If trails are dangerous due to snow and ice, the park services will close the trails for your safety.

9 - Take a scenic drive

The Blue Ridge Parkway, The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Shenandoah National Park and many other national parks are generally "open" in the winter.  We put open in quotes for a couple of reasons:

• They are open, but most visitors centers and facilities are closed.
• Roads may not always be open, so make sure you check the park service websites.  Roads can and will be closed due to snow or ice conditions.
• Parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway are always closed during the winter

Baring any closures, the roads through our national and state parks can offer views not normally scene during the summer, due to foliage being off the trees.   Also, the ice formations on the rock walls around the roads are beautiful to look at and photograph.

You can also just explore a few back roads.  As photographers, we love to visit The Parkway and National Parks, but we love even more exploring new back roads.   We've seen some very unique places, views, and buildings by asking ourselves "I wonder where that road leads?" and saying "Let's find out".   

10 - Stargaze and Astrophotography

During the winter months, the skies above the Blue Ridge Mountains can be crystal clear. This makes for the perfect time to head-out and look up!  Grab your favorite hot drink or hot food, head out to one of the many locations, find that perfect spot with low light, and enjoy the millions of stars above you.

While finding areas with the least amount of artificial light noise is optimal, you don't have to travel far.  In fact you can even enjoy the beautiful crystal clear skies from your hotel or cabin.

If you want to capture what you see, or even see more detail, use your digital camera.   The trick is to use a tripod, and set-up a long exposure.   You'll be amazing at how many more stars and sky details your camera can capture using a long exposure.

Some top places to view the stars and take so astro photos are:

• The Blue Ridge Parkway - The parkway is full of great options, that are easy to access, including Waterrock Knob.  Just be aware, the portions of the parkway are often closed during the winter to vehicle traffic, but you can hike up from the gates.
• Newfound Gap, Great Smoky Mountains National Park
• Peaks of Otter, Virginia
• Russell Brasstown Scenic Byway, Georgia - Brasstown Bald provides optimal viewing, when open.
• Max Patch - This is one of our favorite locations, but it can be difficult and dangerous to access during the winter due to snow and ice.

11 - Attend a Winter Event or Festival!

Think the Blue Ridge Mountains go to sleep after Christmas? Think again! Winter in the mountains is actually one of the most exciting times to visit, as the local communities swap holiday lights for high-octane festivals and outdoor celebrations. Whether it’s watching daring locals plunge into icy lakes or sampling award-winning chili while admiring world-class ice sculptures, the winter calendar is packed with events designed to get you out of the cabin and into the action.

These festivals are the perfect way to refuel and recharge between your outdoor adventures. You can spend your morning hitting the ski slopes or hiking to a frozen waterfall, then spend your afternoon at a lively block party with live music, local craft brews, and incredible food. If you’re looking for maximum winter excitement, make sure to time your trip with one of these fan-favorite annual events:

Winter Tips for Visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains

Some final tips for visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains during the winter, and in particular when doing outdoor activities.

• Wear appropriate clothing and dress in layers.  This includes: A good pair of waterproof boots, long johns, ski pants, jacket, and a good pair of extreme weather gloves.
• Avoid wearing cotton.  Instead, wear "moisture wicking" clothing designed for outdoor use.
• Weather can change very quickly here, especially at higher elevations - so wear layers, so you can remove and add clothing as needed.
• Make sure you know where you are going, or bring a GPS - Snow can often hide the trail and make determining your direction more difficult.
• Make sure one or more people know where you are going and when you should be back home.
• Use hiking poles and wear micro spikes on your hiking boots for traction on ice.

Here are 10 things you can do in Maggie Valley NC during the Winter:

1 - Winter Hiking in Maggie Valley

Maggie Valley NC and the surrounding mountains are full of hiking trails that meet the requirements of just about anyone.   While winter hiking isn't for everyone, winter hiking has some really nice advantages:

• No bugs
• No snakes
• Humidity and temperatures are down
• Views are better due to foliage being off the trees
• With fewer people in the area, your hike will have more solitude.
• There is just something magical about a hike in the snow.

Word of caution - Due to ice and snow, some trails can be dangerous.  Be sure to understand weather and trail conditions before heading out, and bring the appropriate gear to stay warm and dry.

2 - Visit Frozen Waterfalls

During the winter, as temperatures often drop below freezing, something beautiful happens.   The water flowing over the hundreds of waterfalls in the area begins to freeze.  The ice changes the waterfalls and often turns them into magical and unique places to visit and see.

You can find waterfalls in and around Maggie Valley, using our Waterfalls Guide.  Below is a frozen Soco Falls, and really beautiful waterfall just outside of Maggie Valley, near the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Of course, when visiting waterfalls during the winter, use extra caution:

• Trails to waterfalls can be slick and dangerous - We highly recommend using Crampons.
• Waterfalls are incredibly dangerous during the winter, so never attempt to climb them, or climb out onto the rocks above them.
• Areas all around waterfalls and water in the winter are slick, significantly increasing your chances of slipping and falling.
• Always stay on the trail and on observations decks.

3 - Go Skiing

Did you know that Maggie Valley has one of the premier ski resorts in the Blue Ridge Mountains?   Cataloochee Ski Area is generally open from Mid-November to late March and offers 18 ski slopes and trails.   Slopes are available for beginners, intermediate skiers, and experts as well.  They even have a slope specifically for snowboarders that provides rails, boxes, jibs, and jumps.

The resort also provides three chairlifts and two conveyor lifts to the top of the slopes.

The Sport Shop, located in Maggie Valley provides lift tickets, gear rentals, and gear for sale as well.   Up at the slopes, you'll find a restaurant, bar, gear shop, and gift shop in the main Lodge.   Here is their full brochure for more information.

4 - Snow Tube!

Another exciting winter attraction by Cataloochee Ski Area is Tube World, located in Maggie Valley across from Ghost Town.  Tube World offers tubing for everyone, from mid-December to March, depending on weather conditions.

The cost for tubing is $25 per person, per session.  Sessions are one hour and 45 minutes long and run every two hours.  There is a 42″ minimum height requirement.  Reservations are required.

For children that don't meet the height requirement for tubing, Tube World offers the Wee Bowl Snowplay Area.  Wee Bowl is open on a limited basis as weather and snowmaking allows.  Cost for Wee Bowl is $5.

5 - Watch a sunrise or sunset

Any time of the year is a wonderful time to watch a sunset or sunrise, but winter seems to offer some of the most beautiful.   The lack of foliage provides better views, and the crisp clear winter skies provide exceptional beautiful color.

While there are numerous locations in and around Maggie Valley to view sunsets and sunrises, the best are:

• Waterrock Knob
• Many of the scenic overlooks on The Blue Ridge Parkway, between Maggie Valley and Asheville, NC
• Purchase Knob

But even from in the Valley itself, you can see the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.  If you're lucky, your rental cabin or hotel/motel will provide a lovely view.

6 - Eat

There is always great food to eat in Maggie Valley and nearby Waynesville NC.  While some restaurants close for the off-season, many Maggie Valley restaurants remain open.

7 - Shop 'til you Drop

Maggie is well known for its specialty shops, including souvenir stores, boutiques, wood carvings, sweets, antiques and much more.  While some stores close for the winter, many remain open.

Maggie Valley also has a number of fun attractions, that remain open in the winter, including:

Elevated Mountain Distillery

Elevated Mountain Distilling Company is a craft distiller of small batch, top-shelf whiskeys, and spirits and is based in Maggie Valley, NC.

Elevated Mountain Distilling Company operates in an 11,000 sq. ft. facility that encompasses the distillery, barrel storage, bottling area, product development/quality control lab, and gift shop.  They are "extremely proud of the facility layout and process design enhancing wastewater management, ventilation management, and other features that set us apart in the craft distilling industry".

Interested in being a Master Distiller for a day?  Visit their website to book a tour and taste samples.   You can also purchase merchandise, including limited quantities of their distilled products at their gift shop.

Maggie Valley Puzzle Rooms

Maggie Valley Puzzle Rooms provides themed rooms that are physical adventure games in which you search for clues and solve puzzles.  Sixty minutes in a room sounds like a long time until the pressure starts building to solve all of the clues. You have two goals in the rooms–solve the mystery and get the exit pass to leave the room before one hour is up!

Puzzle rooms work best for teenagers and adults, but they also have special puzzle rooms for younger children as well.

9 - Visit America's largest privately owned home

The largest privately owned home in America, Biltmore Estate, is located less than an hour's drive from Maggie Valley. The estate not only houses the famous home, the gardens, a shopping center, two hotels, restaurants, horse riding stables, and more.

Many don't realize that the estate is full of really nice hiking trails as well. That will take you through the remote backwoods and by many of the water lagoons, ponds, and creeks on the property.

From November through January, you can see Biltmore house decorated for Christmas, which is absolutely beautiful. They even have reservation only candlelight tours in the evenings.

If you plan to visit more than once, consider getting a season's pass.  

10 - Drive the Parkway

Any time of the year is always a great time to drive The Blue Ridge Parkway.  Winter has its benefits due to far less traffic, and better views due to the foliage being gone.  Due to the high elevations of the Parkway, you'll want to check their road closures page to learn about possible closures due to snow, ice, and other weather conditions.

Additionally, ALL Parkway facilities are closed during the winter, meaning visitors centers, bathroom facilities, and park offices are closed.

We love driving the parkway in the winter, you're sure to see sights you don't normally see when driving during other times of the year!

Below are some of our top winter hiking trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains.   You can click on "Learn More" link in each trail, to view our full guide containing photos, directions, details and a walkthrough of the trail.

Out of all the areas in the Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina offers the most, and best, options for skiing in the Blue Ridge.  With more than 11 resorts to choose from, all through Western NC, you'll have plenty of options.

Appalachian Ski Mountain is located south of Boone NC.  The resort offers 12 slopes.  Slopes are served by one double chair lift, two quad charlifts, two conveyor lifts, and one handle pull lift.  There is also an Terrain Park for snowboarding.

The resort also offers a ski shop, ice-skating rink, late night skiing, and a number of special events.  

The resort has 4 onsite chalets for rent, and a numerous other lodging options are available nearby in Boone and Blowing Rock NC.

Beech Mountain Ski Resort is located just north of Banner Elk, NC and is also the home of the Land of Oz.  "Ski Beech" as it is commonly called, provides 15 different trails and a terrain park.  They provide three double chairlifts, three quad chairlifts, and a conveyor lift called "The Magic Carpet".

The resort additionally offers an Alpine village (with Brewery), mountain top skybar, ice skating and tubing.

Lodging options on and around the resort include cabin rentals, hotels, and condos.

Nestled in the upper elevations of Maggie Valley North Carolina, Cataloochee Valley Ski Area provides 17 trails and a summit height of 5,400 feet.  They have 1 quadlift, 1 triple charlift, 1 double chairlift, and 2 surface lifts.  A terrain park is also available.

A Ski Shop, and restaurant are a available at the base of the slopes.

There is no on resort lodging, but plenty of lodging and cabin options are available around Cataloochee Ski Area, and in the nearby town of Maggie Valley NC.

Cataloochee Ski Area also offers snowing tubing, at Tube World in Maggie Valley.

Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is North Carolina's largest ski area and is located near Banner Elk, NC.  

Sugar Mountain offers 21 different ski trails (15 at night), and a summit elevation of 5,300 feet.  They have a total of 8 lifts, 1 high speed six passenger, 1 triple chairlift, 4 double chairlifts, and 2 surface lifts.  They also have a large terrain park.

The resort offers a lounge, restaurant, ski shop, and both on site and off site lodging and accomodations.    They additionally have snow tubing and a large ice skating rink as well.

Night skiing, special events, competitive skiing, and lessons are all available.

Sapphire Valley Ski Resort is small family oriented ski resort, located in the foothills, outside of Cashiers, NC.

The resort offers two trails and 1 quad chairlift.  Snow tubing is also available at the resort.

There is a restaurant at the base of the slopes, but no on resort lodging is availble.  Loding is available nearby.

Wolf Ridge Ski Resort is located just north of Asheville NC in the Mars Hill Community. "The Wolf" offers 14 different trails from beginniner to expert level.  Guests are taken to the top of the slopes at 4,700 foot elevation by 4 lifts, 1 quad charlift, 1 double chairlife, and 2 moving carpet lifts.  Day and night skiing is available.

At the base of the slopes, the lodge provides a cafeteria, gift shop, and rental shop.  Lodging is available around the resort, and can be booked along side your ski passes.

Snow tubing is available just a short distance from the resort.

One of the most popular Blue Ridge Mountain Ski Resorts, and the only ski resort in the Great Smoky Mountains is located in Tennessee, at Ober Gatlinburg.

Ober Gatlinburg is a ski resort and amusement park, located in Gatlinburg TN, that provides 556 vertical rise for skiing.  The resort provides 10 trails, from beginner to expert, and 10 lifts.  They have: 2 Quad Lifts, 1 Double Life, and 1 Handle tow

The resort also offers: Snow tubing, ice skating, and a terrain park for snow boarding.  Shopping and restaurant venues are also availble, including a ski shop for rentals.

Lodging is available around the resort in Gatlinburg.

Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains are home to 4 different snow ski resorts.  They all provide beautiful and exciting high elevation skiing, fantastic views, snow tubing, and other winter activities. 

Located in Basye, Virginia, and less than 2 miles from Washington DC, Bryce Mountain Resort provides 8 different lift assisted trails, snow tubing, Retaurant & Bar.  The resort has 1 quadchair lift, 1 double lift, and 5 carpet assist lifts.  Summit elevations is 1750feet, and the base elevation is 1250.

Lodging is available nearby and off the resort itself.  Snow tubing is available along side the trails and on the resort.

Massanutten Resort is located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, and features 1,110 feet of vertical skiing.  The resort has 14 trails, from beginner to expert level.  There are 7 lifts, 1 triple chair, 3 quad chair, 1 J Bar (on the terrain park), and 2 conveyor lifts.  Both daytime and night skiing is available.

The resort offers lodging (hotels and cabins), a full service spa, multiple restaurants, a ski lodge, ice skating rink, snow tubing and an indoor waterpark.

The Omni Homestead Resort provides a 700 feet of vertical skiing with 10 trails for beginners to experts.  There are two lifts provided and there is a Terrain Park.  The ski resort is ideal for beginners.

Numerous ammentities are also available including lodging, a spa, restaurants, ice skating, mini-snow mobiles, and snow tubing.

Wintergreen Resort offers a premium ski experience in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, near Charlottesville.  The resort provides 25 trails from beginner to expert.  Lifts to the top, at 3,500 foot in elevation, are provided by 5 different chairlifts: 1 quad, 2 triple, and 1 double.

The resort also has lodging, premium restaurants, ski shop, a terrain park, snow tubing, and even a full service Spa.  Both day and night skiing are available.
